Investigation:

We started the investigation by just running a keyword search to see if Sanjay Raut had given a statement like this.

We found a few news reports from July this year.

The news report mentioned that after Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Waikar, only Dawood Ibrahim left to be given a clean chit.

The Maha Vikas Aghadi, MVA had then slammed BJP-led Mahayuti over the clean chit given to tainted Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Waikar in hotel redevelopment case. The MVA leaders said that the BJP’s washing machine came into action again with Raut saying that now only a fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim is left to get a clean chit from the incumbent Maharashtra government.

We also found a press  conference by Sanjay Raut being streamed live on YouTube channel of ANI.

The PC streamed on October 23, 2024. At around 15 min 20 seconds in the video, a reporter asks Sanjay Raut about Sebi chief Madhabi Puri Buch getting a clean chit in the Hindenburg case, to which Sanjay Raut responds, “See, one day this government will give clean chit to Dawood Ibrahim too.”

He gave the same statement on several occasions.

Conclusion: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut did not say that their government will give clean chit to Dawood Ibrahim. Clipped video of his statement is being shared with misleading claims.
