A social media post (here and here) claims that the Government of India has issued a recruitment notification under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan for 2025, announcing large-scale hiring in the education sector to ensure accessible and quality primary education for all. We also received a request on the Factly WhatsApp tipline (+91 92470 52470) to verify this recruitment notification, which includes a website link for applications (https://www.sarvashikshaabhiyan.com). Let’s verify the truth behind this through this article.

Investigation:

To verify the claim, we visited the official website of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, under the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India. After thoroughly reviewing the website, we found no such recruitment notification for 2025.

Upon investigating the website (https://www.sarvashikshaabhiyan.com), which we received on our WhatsApp tipline, we found that it was registered on 25 July 2024.

We also found a post on X (archived) by PIB Fact Check, dated 08 February 2025, dismissing the viral job recruitment notification and the website as fake. The post included a screenshot of the fraudulent Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan website and warned that ‘http://sarvashikshaabhiyan.com‘ is a fake website posing as the official portal of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and offering false job opportunities. It clarified that this website is not associated with the Government of India and provided the official website link: https://samagra.education.gov.in.

The X post by PIB Fact Check included a press release link from the Ministry of Education, dated 07 March 2022, issued in response to similar fake job recruitment notifications misusing the government’s name. It warned about fraudulent websites mimicking official portals and demanding money. The press release also listed websites such as www.sarvashiksha.online, https://samagra.shikshaabhiyan.co.in, and https://shikshaabhiyan.org.in.

Factly has previously debunked such websites, ads, and notifications falsely claiming to offer government jobs. You can read them hereherehere, and here.

To sum up, the Ministry of Education has not issued any large-scale recruitment notification for 2025 under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.

Conclusion: The Ministry of Education has not issued any large-scale recruitment notification for 2025 under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. PIB Fact Check also dismissed the viral job notification and termed the website as fraudulent, warning that http://sarvashikshaabhiyan.com is falsely posing as an official portal and offering fake job opportunities. It clarified that this website is not associated with the Government of India. Hence, the claim made in the post is false.
