Fans have been celebrating in full swing, with videos and pictures flooding social media—some arriving on horseback, others pouring milk over posters as a mark of devotion. Amidst these viral moments, Lighthouse Journalism found a striking image of protests being shared online.
The picture shows some NCP workers protesting, it was claimed along with the image, that NCP workers have been fasting to ban, the ‘Chhaava’ movie stating Aurangzeb was a saint. During the investigation, we found that the image is old from 2013.

We started the investigation by running a reverse image search on the image being shared widely.
We found the image posted on the blog bharatuntoldstory.wordpress.com

The text below the image stated that the picture shows a group of Indian Muslims protesting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (then Aurangabad), Maharashtra, against the title of the forthcoming Bollywood film, ‘Aurangzeb’. The blog was updated in July 2013.
X user Tarek Fatah too had shared the image on his profile on May 8, 2013.

Conclusion: A 2013 photo of NCP workers protesting against the Bollywood movie Aurangzeb is being shared with misleading claims, falsely linking it to the recent movie Chhaava. The viral claim is misleading.
