Amidst the reports of the hijacking of a train in Pakistan with 400 passengers, a video is doing rounds on the internet suggesting that the video is related to the recent incident. During the investigation we found the video to be old.
Claim:
X user Krissh Purrohit shared the video with a claim suggesting it to be recent.
Other users too are sharing the video with similar claims.
Investigation:
We uploaded the video to the InVid tool, extracted keyframes from it, and ran a reverse image search on the keyframes.
We found the video posted on the X profile of Rohan Panchigar.
The video was posted two years ago, on April 15, 2022.
We also found a visual from this video on the X profile of News9 Plus.
The video was posted on September 12, 2022.
We also found the video on Reddit posted two years ago.

The caption said: Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claimed remote controlled IED attack derailing Jaffar Express carrying Pakistan Army personnel in Mushkaf an area between Bolan and Sibi district of Balochistan.
Though the video is from Balochistan, this is not related to the recent attack on the train in Pakistan.
Conclusion: A video from 2022 is being shared as recent as that of the BLA attack on Jaffar Express in Pakistan. The viral claim is misleading.
