Lighthouse Journalism came across a post being widely shared on social media platforms. The post claimed that Rajasthan’s deputy chief minister Prem Chand Bairwa has been removed from his position after news of his immoral conduct came to light. The troubles for Bairwa began when Congress national spokesperson Supriya Shrinate on October 3rd posted a five word post on X. Although, no individual’s name was mentioned, the post prompted BJP to issue clarifications and condemn what they said was an attempt to tarnish Bairwa’s image. During the investigation we found that he has not been removed from the deputy CM post and that the viral newspaper clip is fake.
