Investigation:

Using Google keyword search we checked the latest news reports about veteran BJP leader LK Advani.

We found a news report on ANI informing that LK Advani had been discharged from hospital and is healthy and stable.

The 96-year-old BJP leader was discharged from Apollo Hospital on 4th July, following a night-long stay there.

We also found news reports about the gaffe of Union Minister V Somanna, who apparently misled local BJP workers. He fell prey to fake news about BJP veteran Lal Krishna Advani’s death and offered condolence and two-minute silence.

He soon realised his mistake and offered a public apology and left the meeting in a hurry.

We then connected with Maharashtra state BJP spokesperson, Shivrai Kulkarni who confirmed that the leader is alive and stable and is doing well at his home. He also wished for LK Advani’s well-being.

Conclusion: BJP veteran leader Lal Krishna Advani was discharged from Apollo Hospital last week. He is stable, healthy and resting at home. Viral claims of his death are fake.
