Investigation:

We started the investigation by uploading the video in the InVid tool and then obtaining screen grabs from the same. We ran a reverse image search on the screen grabs to check the source of the video.

We found the screenshots of the video on PNS News 24. The news was published on18th September, 2024.

The report said: CCTV footage shows that a medium-sized pickup stopped at the Kuril Toll Plaza on the Dhaka Elevated Expressway at around 9:45 p.m. The pickup was loaded with people. Seeing the extra people in the pickup, the counter man at the plaza refused to take the toll.

This suggested that the incident took place on an elevated toll road in Bangladesh.

We also found the same report on another website ruposhibangla.us.

The report stated: First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Operations Manager Hasan Hasib Khan Told that the pickup was stopped due to security reasons. There has been a misunderstanding regarding this. There was no damage to the toll plaza. Just had an argument with them.
