Investigation:

We started our investigation by obtaining keyframes from the video and then running a Google reverse image search on the same.

During the investigation we found a video uploaded on Facebook.

This was the same video that was being shared with misleading claims.

The video was captioned (translation): Dear Leader Fahmi Gulandaz Babel MP led by Mr. Gafargaon Upazila Upazila Chhatra League once again shook the streets of Dhaka and created history.

We then ran a keyword search on this too and found the video uploaded on YouTube shorts on channel, @channel24digital.

The video was uploaded on September 1, 2023. The caption of the video said: Leaders and activists in the BCL rally with a huge procession

We found one more video of protets, where unlike this video everyone was seen wearing black.

We then connected with senior fact checker of Bangladesh, Tausif Akbar who confirmed that the video is from 2023 and the rally is from of Chhatra League (student wing of Awami League).

Conclusion: Old video of a rally of members of Chhatra League in September 2023 is now being shared as recent of a rally of Hindus in Bangladesh. Viral claim is misleading.
